When writing the text for this newsletter, I realize that we, the Moofpeople team, are working from home for almost 4 weeks as a result of the corona virus and the associated Government provision to continue as much work as possible from home (so that together we contribute in this way to further prevent the spread of this virus).
Four weeks already.
Weeks in which the corona virus dominates in the news. And rightly so: the global human suffering as a result of corona is unfathomably deep. Difficult also to switch from here to the subject of this newsletter: WHERE ARE WE NOW ……………… ?
That is why I first want to reflect on all fellow human beings who have been directly affected by the corona virus through a verse of a poem that I received last week:
When we are hit hard
Our hearts cringe
Uncertainty plays tricks on us
And we look for support or comfort
That’s where we come together
From here I ‘dare’ to take the step to the subject of this newsletter, by means of an addition:
WHERE ARE WE NOW ……………. TOGETHER?
We have rotated and paid the wages for you (and at the same time our) payroll employees for the month of March 2020 and, where applicable, cf. the policy rules behind the NOW (Temporary Emergency Bridging Measure for Job Retention, see also our previous newsletter on this specific topic)
We have had many and intensive conversations with you about: how things are going now, about planning, about aid commitment, about support measures, etc.
We have already received new payroll orders from a number of you
And I can go on like this for a while, but I don’t want that: everything looks like SAMEN and I would like to give more shape to that in the coming weeks. For this we have come up with a plan, called: Moof.All
Moof.All will be our online platform where we will connect each other even more, help even more, inspire even more. Just say in simple words: where we will further strengthen our relationships TOGETHER, in such a way that we can leave corona behind us at an unknown time and be (and remain) active in a, in all respects, healthier world.
That’s all I want to write about it yet, that will come in the coming weeks.
Also on behalf of my entire Moofpeople team I would like to thank you for having endured these 4 weeks TOGETHER. I would like to express the wish that we will be able to work together for countless more weeks, only under better conditions. That is my fervent desire for all of us!
